Tags Overview

Drugs in a formulary can be associated with Tags, enabling you to create condition and treatment pathways within the formulary.

Tags are optional and are intended to allow a prescriber to search for a treatment pathway rather than a specific drug when prescribing.

The tag, for example, UTI, returns a drug that can be prescribed, but depending on how the tag is defined in the formulary, different patients can result in different treatment pathways presented to the prescriber. This can be due to the gender and age ranges defined.

This is also dependent on how your prescribing system has implemented the Cegedim Formulary Management Tool output.
